Hi! My name is Hannah. I started my journey in the dog training world in 2017. But I have been surrounded by dogs and dog training since I was a child. I grew up with professionally trained police K9s in my home which kick started my love for dogs and the art of training. I began doing private lessons after I graduated high school to get some hands on experience. I shadowed different trainers over the years and still do now to broaden my knowledge. As a dog trainer, there is always still more to learn. I have worked and trained a variety of dogs ranging from pet dogs to sport and working dogs. I currently participate in a protection sport with my two German Shepherds, Fury and Nyra. Schutzhund is a 3 phase sport that consists of: obedience, protection and tracking. I have titled Fury to an IGP1.

A bit about my training methods: I am a balanced trainer. I use all four quadrants of operant conditioning. A balance of using reward and motivation as well as correction.

I have a background in animal behavior as well as a veterinary medicine background.
